PTO-Response Question 1) Audre Lorde in this text talks about how Western European have shaped people’s way of thinking. How they have divided and brought differences among people in society based on their class, race, and sex. That is the reason why I think that it is a controversial introduction because the author jumps directly to the main topic and her arguments. Question 2) The thesis statement to me is located in the first paragraph because the reader can easily guess her position n this subject. It also shows the main idea of this topic and the reader is easily directed throughout the text.
