Freewriting: Racism or xenophobia

Racism means discrimination, prejudice towards someone else’s race. When I hear racism, I think about white people looking at colored people as down and dirty, worthless. Dirty because of their skin color, worthless because of their background and down because of white privilege and because in order to “be” in the U.S, you have to be straight white. Response to my opinion by, Darron Subero RE: Freewriting COLLAPSE I really like how honest you were with this free write and how you expressed your opinion so emphatically. I especially like it when you said that you need to be white to be in the US. it really represents how many people who are not white will run into some type of minimalization where the white people are trying to protect their own race
