Freewriting : The middle passage

The middle passage is the path between Africa to Europe when colonizers were bringing colored people to their land. The sufferings started from their own village when they were sold, attached and sequestrated. Awaiting for the moment that everything will end. They ignored that it was just the beginning of a journey that never ends, until to this day. When passing the “Door of no returns”, they left their hearts and hope to Africa. Hoping for something to come save them. While in the boat, they turned right, turned left, no space to move, no air to breath, no blue sky above some of them. Just the darkness and their own memories and apprehension. It was the middle passage.
